The Emancipation Proclamation
The Eddie Mae Herron Center is sponsoring an essay contest to those students entering the 9th – 12th grades. The topic of the essay is: “What Does Freedom Mean to Me?”.
The deadline for the essay is June 15th. You can drop your essay by the Eddie Mae Herron Center or e-mail them to pat@herroncenter.org.
There will be a $50 prize to the winner of the contest!
