John and Roberta Warner donated a barbecue grill to the Herron Center recently. The Warners designed and built the grill, which will be put to good use at the upcoming Randolph County Fair. The Center certainly appreciates this generous donation.

The Herron Center chartered a bus last spring to carry about 35 local people to Memphis to visit the National Civil Rights Museum. The group, ranging in age from school children to over age 90, toured the museum built around the Lorraine Motel, where Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated in 1968.
