The Eddie Mae Herron Center & Museum in celebration of Black History Month 2018 Presents “Finding Our Roots: The Inter-Related Families of Randolph & Lawrence Counties” A Family History Workshop.
2 Sessions – February 16th from 6 PM to 8 PM and February 24th from 10 AM to 3 PM at the EMHC, 1708 Archer, Pocahontas, AR.

Attendees are welcome to attend one or both workshops. The focus will be on African-American Families living in Randolph County and related families in Lawrence County from Post-Emancipation forward. Some pre-Civil War information will be discussed. Please bring as much family history information as you know. Bring photographs if you’d like them scanned for sharing. EMHC has been collecting family history since 2005 and will share photos, birth and death records and other information gathered by the presenter.
