The Eddie Mae Herron Center would like to invite everyone to the Project Reach (Researching Early Arkansas Cultural Heritage) event the weekend of October 27-28-29. This event will
celebrate the official opening of the Rice-Upshaw House and the William Looney Tavern near the Dalton Community to the general public. The Rice-Upshaw House was built in 1828 and the Looney Tavern was built in 1833.
The Herron Center/Museum will be providing food as a fund raiser during the three day event.
Menu as follows.
Thursday they will be serving hot dogs $1.50 , cold drinks $1, chips .50 cents, coffee .50 cents, gatoraid $1.50, water $1.00 and hot chocolate .50 cents.
Friday and Saturday they will be serving beans/ham, cornbread , desert, and a drink for $6.
